B&M Retail are seeking a data-focused and detail-driven Data Analyst to join our Retail Operations Team. As a Data Analyst, you’ll play a proactive role in enhancing our reporting processes, driving consistency across documents, and delivering insights that help inform smarter decisions.

You’ll support the delivery of accurate reporting, trend analysis, and well-formatted presentations which is instrumental in helping the business understand its current sales position and driving performance.

You will be responsible for:

Collecting and managing data to produce regular reports, dashboards, and visualisations to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities

Recommend corrective action, when necessary, based on acquired knowledge and observation

Produce reports and presentations using complex data and display them in basic form

Be proficient with presentation making in a creative way and be able to use your creative side to facilitate business essential reporting

Helping shape and refine reporting tools and processes, driving accurate and timely information for leadership review

To be successful in this role you will:

Demonstrate strong analytical skills, with experience in producing insights and presenting findings to senior stakeholders

Use SQL confidently to extract and manipulate data

Apply your knowledge of Microsoft Power BI to build reports and create engaging visual dashboards

Communicate effectively and build strong working relationships

Create polished presentations and visuals using PowerPoint

Maintain a highly organised approach, with excellent attention to detail

Bring experience from the Retail sector, which will be considered an advantage
